Who is Dorm to Door for?
Anyone can request a service—student or not. Services are provided exclusively by students, who must apply with a .edu email. Availability depends on your location. We’re currently serving Rexburg, Idaho. We are an independent business, not an official university service.
How much does a service cost?
Prices depend on the task. Confirm the total price and scope with the provider before booking. Submitting a request does not charge you or confirm a booking.
Will someone come to my apartment?
It depends on the service. You and the provider agree on a suitable location—online, on campus, or at your apartment. Follow your housing’s visitor policies.
Can I request help with coursework?
Yes, for tutoring and understanding concepts. Providers should not complete graded assignments or exams for you.
What happens after I submit?
Your request is saved for review. Matching and follow-up are handled manually; there is no automatic booking or guaranteed response time.
Can I offer a skill that isn’t listed?
Absolutely. If you are a student, apply using your .edu email in the Offer your skills form and describe your service, experience, availability, and proposed pricing. Providers are responsible for any licenses their work requires.
